The adventures of Bilbo Baggins and the company of dwarves comes to a climatic conclusion when they are faced with the devastating consequences of having unleashed the dragon Smaug, and reclaiming the Lonely Mountain. This is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. If you are truly waiting for an extended cut you are probably delusional, the movie itself is extended.

If you cut away all the material not relevant to the plot or only there to serve as eyecandy you would literally have a 20 minute film.

CGi overload, thank god for the good old days and the LOTR trilogy with some real gritty practical stunts and acting/action/fighting, where you can actually feel attached to things, where you feel the physicality for once, 10 000 extras, you feel the force of that through the screen, compared to 30 000 animated lame ass orcs
