man, i remember the days when almost every person in this site were lambasting the film's early concepts...i guess the new year indeed always welcome new changes (in life) =) i love you all!

@Batman15 I still dont see it as `more of a comedy` or at least along the lines of being a "spoof". I remember years ago there being rumors about Ashton Kutcher and Sean William Scott playing Superman and Batman- now THAT would have been so much worse! To me this GH movie is actually pretty faithful to the character story wise, they got a lot of basics and details down from the comic books and the comedic element is something they seem to have just added. I always say better to add than take away from the source material

I've always been looking forward to this. But this is actually less than my expectation. It's not really showcasing "Gondry's unique directing style." I mean, yeah, it's okay, but it's not that unique. I'm sure Gondry can (and he better) do a frickin' lot better than this.

I'm just glad that some people are starting to come around and see the potential of this movie.
You can't replace Bruce frickin' Lee with anyone, but I'm sure this will be good.
