Samuel L. Jackson Learns Monsters Exist In A Clip From KONG: SKULL ISLAND; Plus End Credits Scene Confirmed

The first clip from Kong: Skull Island is here and it features a conversation between Samuel L. Jackson & John Goodman, which strongly hints at other Kong-like monsters i.e. Godzilla! Come take a look!

While Godzilla may have hit theaters just around three years ago, it's Kong: Skull Island that will actually launch Legendary's MonsterVerse as its story takes place over forty years before the main events of the previous film.

The first clip has arrived, courtesy of Yahoo!
Movies, and it teases a tense confrontation between Samuel L. Jackson's character Lieutenant Colonel Packard and John Goodman's character Bill Randa, who works for an organization known as Monarch - as in the same organization that attempted to kill Godzilla with a nuclear bomb in 1954. That's not the only major reveal as he also name-drops M.U.T.O. (Massive Unidentified Terrestrial Organism) and lets Jackson know that it's up to his agency to find these creatures before they can reclaim the Earth for themselves.

On another note, we've received confirmation of a post-credits tag and according to Splash Report editor-in-chief Kellvin Chavez, it's extremely awesome and he even goes on to promise that "it will not disappoint." The former Latino-Review founder, who has seen the film, wouldn't divulge much else (as he is under an embargo), but did seem to indicate in his follow-up comments that he definitely enjoyed what he saw from the Jordan Vogt-Roberts directed feature.

As for that end credits sequence, if we were to speculate, there are a number of different directions they could go with it, with the most likely being a possible tease for 2019's Godzilla: King of the Monsters (Mothra, anyone?), but then again, they could also surprise us with a very early first look at 2020's Godzilla vs. Kong. What do you guys think?

Samuel L. Jackson learns monsters exist?! As in the actual Samuel L. Jackson? The actor? Because either he's gone crazy, or monsters do actually exist. In which case i may make my own news article "TheManWithourFear learns that monsters exist!". Because that is of course the first thing i would do if i learned that monsters exist, make a CBM article.

@TheManWithoutFear -

When your on the news, talking about monsters existing, would you use your real name or TheManWithourFear?
Or is that your real name?

@SimplyAz - My real name?

It's not who i am underneath, but what i do that defines me.

But yes, TheManWithoutFear is my real name. My first name is TheMan and my second name is WithoutFear. I am the man. I hope that answers your question.

@TheManWithoutFear - Yes it does. Your parents chose a great first name to go with that surname. Something like Matt would have sounded strange : )

If this does well, can see it helping Hiddlestone get the James Bond gig, like Layer Cake did with Daniel Craig.

I'm intrigued to see what Jordan Vogt-Roberts can do. Grace Randolph was saying he has the potential to be the next Nolan. I just want this movie to be kickass so hopefully it delivers.

I want to see John Goodman showing up in more things. The man is fantastic, and boy does he have some acting chops! He stole the show in 10 Cloverfield Lane.
