Guillermo del Toro sent off an email last night to the Criterion Cast about all the talk yesterday of the Mountains of Madness and shooting status.

When he was asked if the rumors start date was actually true, Del Toro responded with this:

"The opposite. Dead."

LEEE777 - Can't say I was that interested in this, though probably only because I've never read the books. Dr Strange, Hellboy 3 and Deadman please.

he's doing pacific rim instead I believe, so don't get your hopes up about Dr Strange or Hellboy 3, since he has ties with marvel now since he's developing the Hulk tv show hopefully that means marvel might actually splash some money and get this dude to direct dr. strange when he's free in 10 years time

What a bunch of crap. This movie had such potential. The powers that be should seriously rethink their decision.
