Plenty Of New Footage In This International Trailer For RESIDENT EVIL: THE FINAL CHAPTER

Sony has released a new international trailer for what's being marketed as the last installment in their series of video game adaptations, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. There's lots of action-packed new footage of Milla Jovovich and her pals making mince-meat of the undead, as well as a teasing glimpse of one final standoff with an old enemy.

Many are surprised that this franchise has lasted as long as it has, but the sci-fi/horror flicks have always been pretty decent earners and that's really all that matters. Do you have fun with these movies, or are you glad they're finally coming to an end?

Picking up immediately after the events in Resident Evil: Retribution, humanity is on its last legs after Alice is betrayed by Wesker in Washington D.C. As the only survivor of what was meant to be humanity’s final stand against the undead hordes, Alice must return to where the nightmare began – Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is gathering its forces for a final strike against the only remaining survivors of the apocalypse. In a race against time Alice will join forces with old friends, and an unlikely ally, in an action packed battle with undead hordes and new mutant monsters. Between losing her superhuman abilities and Umbrella’s impending attack, this will be Alice’s most difficult adventure as she fights to save humanity, which is on the brink of oblivion.

Starring Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, Iain Glen, Shawn Roberts, Ruby Rose, Eoin Macken, William Levy, Fraser James, and Rola, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter is set to be released on January 27th, 2017.

You know what? As mediocre as some of these movies have been, I really do feel like they deserve the success they've achieved.

If only they made it a horror movie and not an action flick. These could have been good, maybe in 10 years and reboot to do the IP justice I guess.

Another RE movie where all of the video game characters from the previous movie are mysteriously killed off and it turns into a one woman show to save the day. If the movie studios were smart, they would redo the RE series and base it solely off the video game. There is enough material from the video game series to make a better movie than the RE series has put out.
