Speaking with Shock Til You Drop while promoting the DVD/Blu-Ray release of Scream 4, Wes Craven - director of the popular horror franchise - confirms that he hasn't gotten a call yet concerning a fifth installment. He says that there needs to be something a writer can pitch to him before that call can be made, as well as commenting on his plans for the fall (which you can read by hitting the link below).

"Bob [Weinstein] doesn't typically call until there's something down on paper or something a writer can pitch to me,"
Craven told us, "so I don't expect to hear anything until Bob has that."

Scream 4 hits DVD/Blu-Ray October 4th.
