Two Key WONDER WOMAN Stars Will Reprise Their Roles In JUSTICE LEAGUE

The cat is out of the bag as it's been revealed today by a member of the Justice League cast that both they and another star will be reprising their Wonder Woman roles in the ensemble...

Wonder Woman doesn't spend a huge amount of time on Themyscira, but enough to make us want to see more of both Queen Hippolyta and Antiope somewhere down the line. Unfortunately, the latter dies while protecting Diana from invading Germans on Paradise Island's beaches, but it has now been revealed that both characters will make their return in Zack Snyder's upcoming Justice League movie.

Of course, we've known for a while that Amazons would factor into the movie as they're in the trailers, but Diane Nielsen and Robin Wright
reprising their roles had not been confirmed. Until now that is.

"[Wright and I] got to do more in 'Justice League' as well," Neilsen tells the Los Angeles Times. "As sisters as well. Kind of badass as well. We can’t say much, but..." Wright then interrupted and added, "And more of the story, you get some of the
history." Clearly, the Amazons have a past with Darkseid and Steppenwolf, though it will be interesting to see where this war fits into their history and whether it somehow links up to Ares, the eventual fate of the Olympians, and the Amazons going into hiding.

A long time ago, it was reported that Justice League would see man, Amazons, and Atlanteans each take a Mother Box to their respective homes following the defeat of Darkseid, but that artefact was nowhere to be seen in Wonder Woman. Who knows, perhaps we'll even return to Themyscira!

@MarkJulian - Umm I thought Hippolyta was confirmed long ago? Antiope is a surprise but will probably be either a flashback or she never died and faked her death to push Diana to become the Wonder Woman.

100% its for a flashback when they fought with the atlanteans against the parademons for the motherbox. Gosh that sentence was impeccably nerdy as [frick]

Just came from seeing WONDER WOMAN...
Its was actually better than I thought it would be. It was enjoyable for the most part. Everyone acted their parts very well, which brings me to Gal Gadot.......she was decent in the role, but I don't see where the praise of this outstanding performance comes from. Some of her acting and line delivery was a tad bit cringey at times and from that I'd say that Chris Pine carried the film IMO. Overall, it was enjoyable and is the only good DCEU film IMO.

7/10
