JUSTICE LEAGUE: The First Reactions To The Movie Are Here And They Point To It Being Fun But Flawed

The review embargo for Justice League doesn't lift until next week but critics have been allowed to share their thoughts on social media! What's the verdict? Well, it appears as if it's good not great...

Justice League hits theaters on November 17th and the review embargo is currently expected to lift on the 14th. That's a big difference to how soon Marvel Studios allowed reviews for Thor: Ragnarok to go live but not necessarily an indication that Warner Bros. isn't confident in its chances of success. That's evident from the fact that they've allowed reviewers to share their thoughts on social media today.

So, what does everyone think? Well, the general consensus is pretty positive but it definitely doesn't sound like it's a masterpiece. Those reshoots have seemingly simplified the movie in a big way and that means it's a pretty straightforward story (no great surprise with a running time of less than two hours). Most agree that it's good fun, though, and that it serves as a relaunch of sort for this universe.

After the mixed repsonse to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad that may be no bad thing and even if it's just a fun popcorn flick, that could be a step in the right direction. As we mentioned, reviews won't be live until next week so it's going to be very interesting seeing how those turn out and what sort of score Justice League gets on Rotten Tomatoes. Are you guys still excited?

After BvS and Sqwad I'll take a good fun film, really looking forward to seeing what they do with the whole League.
But as Someone who loves MoS, I cannot wait to see more of Superman.

Still haven't seen Thor Ragnarock eithere, so going to have to see both next week.

Looked at the reviews on Twitter myself, and glad to see that it says families will enjoy it as well, cannot wait for next week.

@SimplyAz - Can't wait to see the League on screen, especially Superman! I seem to be getting younger as the day approaches...

Have fun watching Ragnarok. Personally, I went in with the mindset that the film would be, for the lion share, a comedy. I'm glad I did as I'm a big fan of Planet Hulk, and I wasn't happy with what they did to a couple of characters. Thor's portrayal irked me somewhat, even Hulk's to a certain extent. I had fun, though.
I am in no way suggesting you adopt the same mindset, just thought I'd shove my opinion down your throat!

Still can't believe I'm going to see Justice League in one week!
