Due to "blocked pedestrian traffic," problems surfaced for many stores along the shooting location, but none other was hit worse than apparently that of Babeland. Below is what was reported about the interruption of sales, as well as complaints coming from a spokesman of the store.
The crew and their trailers took over a street in the upmarket SoHo neighbourhood for almost a month as they filmed scenes for the third instalment of the sci-fi comedy.

Some locals were unhappy with the disruption to their lives and nearby shops have now started to complain about a drop in trade caused by the shoot.
Stores were paid $2,000 (£1,240) each in compensation, but that wasn't anywhere near enough to make up for the fall in sex toy sales at Babeland.
Here is the word from the spokesman:
A spokesman for the shop told the New York Post: 'We should have been reimbursed a lot more for the drop in customers.
'They blocked pedestrian traffic and generally made it so difficult ... that our sales were down for the first time this year.'
