Last year, it was announced by Nike that the memorable self-lacing shoes from Back To The Future 2 were going to be officially released sometime in the later years. But the future is now, which is now the present, and soon to be the past, and Nike is realeasing the powerlaces once again. Anounnced by Nike designer Tinker Hatfield, and Nike CEO Mark Parker, they are set to debut on Spring of 2016, and yes, they will be self-lacing. They will be auctioned with the proceedings going to the Micheal J. Fox foundation for parkinson disease. They have done a similar thing in the past,  that too was to raise money for the foundation, with the shoes going for sale for up to ten thousand dollars with (which you can still find on ebay) with only 1,500 pairs available, except those were not self-lacing. Micheal J. Fox got a hold of the first pair, which he showed off on his twitter account. What a great time to be alive right? I just hope they make a hoverboard to go along with them, and heck, throw in a self-drying sweater too.
