Drew Goddard, director of The Cabin in the Woods, screenwriter for The Martian (and a never-to-be made X-Force movie), will tackle the cinematic adaptation of Nick Drnaso’s graphic novel Sabrina for New Regency and RT Features.

The story follows the murder of a woman named Sabrina, the many conspiracy theories that spawn surrounding her death and the toll it takes on her family and friends. The graphic novel was published in 2018 and is the first to be longlisted for the Man Booker Prize. It was also named to the New York Times' 100 Notable Books of the Year and The Guardian's Best Books of 2018 list.

Goddard is set to write the script and also has an option to direct.

When is X-Force coming out then? Guess Disney is stopping everything until they release all the films Fox already shot. Kinda sad because I was looking forward to seeing X-force come out in 2020 or 2021.

Anyone think Drew Goddard is going to return and helm Sinister 6 if X-Force gets canned? Sony and Marvel have been vocal on wanting Drew Goddard to work on their films.

Interesting art style... very “passenger safety instructions for a Boeing 747”.

Read it, it was ok but it’s deffinetly not for everybody . It slower than a slow burn and there is no mystery to the murder. It’s all about the impact it has on people’s lives
