Kevin Smith is back home and feeling good. The filmmaker and massive comic book fan updated his followers on his condition after suffering a "massive heart attack" on Sunday night.

Smith's medical emergency happened shortly after performing a live show in Arizona. While Smith was still in the hospital, he posted a video to his YouTube channel telling the story of his scary experience.

The writer/director is no stranger to the world of superheroes, having directed episodes of CW's The Flash and Supergirl. Smith is also a well-known commentator on comic book movies and other geeky properties on the show Fatman on Batman.

Guys and Gals if I can give you some advice it is that you only have one body please take care of it. I am currently undergoing major issues myself due to not taking care of myself. Do it for you and your friends/family...Do not wait until it's too late

I wonder if and how this’ll affect his use of Marijuana as that’s become a big part of his life and entertainment in recent years
