POLL: Which Of These Blockbusters Will Top The 2015 Worldwide Box Office?

Comic book movies dominate 2016 and beyond, but 2015 is still a pretty exciting year for blockbusters with everything from Star Wars: The Force Awakens to Terminator Genisys on the horizon! Which major release will end up as the highest grossing? Here's your chance to decide...

2015 looks set to be a very interesting year for blockbusters, with the return of some huge franchises and a few pretty major superhero movies all on the way. Though you may think that the year will ultimately come down to Avengers: Age of Ultron vs. Star Wars: The Force Awakens (which is extremely likely in all honesty), they're far from the only movies likely to hit that desired $1 billion mark this year. Of course, that leads us to wonder whether one might reach $1.5 or $2 billion...

As well as the likes of Spectre, Terminator Genisys and Mission: Impossible 5, you never know which movie released this year might come out of nowhere and end up conquering the rest at the domestic and international box office (did anyone expect Frozen to be the hit it was back in 2013?).

What do you expect to reign supreme this year then? Last year, Transformers: Age of Extinction was the only release to crack $1 billion, with hits such as Guardians of the Galaxy, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 all trailing behind. Remember, we're not asking you to vote for your favourite movie or the one you're most excited to see here, just the one you think will top 2015's worldwide box office! Cast your vote and comment below.

Honestly, Age of Ultron, The Force Awakens, and Spectre will probably be the 3 films to crack $1 billion. Jurassic World, and Mockingjay Part 2 might give it a run for its money too.

Never bet against Disney, though. It'll obviously come down to Age of Ultron vs Star Wars for the top box office earner, and whichever one proves to have longer legs at the box office and better re-watchability will be the one to come out on top.

I could be wrong, but I think Star Wars would still count as a 2015 movie because that's when it debuted.

It's a two horse race. Star Wars vs Age Of Ultron.

It's gonna be a big one.

The Force Awakens.

End debate. Nothing can compete with Star Wars.

Age of Ultron most likely. Star Wars has an outside shot. The only certainty is Star Wars will be one of the worst movies of the year.

Lol at the one FF vote.

If you honestly don't think AOU or Star Wars will be the top earners in 2015, you're most likely a deluded fanboy.

I really don't care, only thing it needs to be is a good movie, each and everyone of them, I won't tolerate fails anymore.

ALL OF THEM HAVE TO BE GOOD!

@ALegendaryPanda

Sorry man, I hate Star Wars more than @blackandyellow hate skinny ties. The prequels were complete garbage, and the originals were just awful.

It's gonna be between Avengers Age of Ultron and Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

@Omarvls

I have a sneaking suspicion that Mad Max won't do all that well at the B.O. No real reason behind it, just a hunch.

AoU, The Force Awakens and Spectre on 3rd place, think on any other option it's just delusion.

Every word typed in these comment sections is an opinion. I would be more likely to put (fact) at the end of a comment. lol.

Spectre, Avengers 2, and Kingsmen are the only movies on that list I'll bother to see.

Star Wars showed 33 seconds of footage in the trailer with no appearances by any of the OT cast and got more views than the AOU trailers.

Star Wars wins.

If you put Star Wars' monthly box office against Avengers' monthly box office, then that's quite a different story...

merc might be a filthy Canadian, but he's right about Star Wars being the worst.
