Netflix and DreamWorks Animation officially announced this morning that their acclaimed animated series, Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, will return for its long-awaited fourth season on December 3.

That Epic Fight, & More (Exclusive)

Like the previous outings, not much is known about what's in store for our favorite campers in the new batch of episodes, but the motion poster does tease that, "A new island awaits," so it looks like their attempt to escape Isla Nublar in the season three finale is going to take a serious detour, landing them in hotter water than ever before.

While the fabled Isla Sorna is the most obvious and safest bet for where they'll likely end up, the Jurassic World: Evolution video game revealed that there are also a number of other in-universe islands where Dr. Wu has been conducting dinosaur experiments, so it's just as possible they could find themselves on Isla Matanceros, Isla Tacano, Isla Muerta, or Isla Peña.

The main voice cast of Paul-Mikél Williams (Westworld), Jenna Ortega (You), Ryan Potter (Titans), Raini Rodriguez (Austin & Ally), Sean Giambrone (The Goldbergs), and Kausar Mohammed (Silicon Valley) will all return to voice their respective roles.

Inspired by the blockbuster Jurassic World franchise, Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous follows six teenagers chosen for a once-in-a-lifetime experience at Camp Cretaceous, a new adventure camp on the opposite side of Isla Nublar, who must work together to survive when dinosaurs wreak havoc across the island. From DreamWorks Animation, Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment, the series is executive produced by Steven Spielberg, Colin Trevorrow, and Frank Marshall, alongside executive producers and showrunners Scott Kreamer and Aaron Hammersley.

I just don't see how Jurassic Park became a franchise. Not because of quality or anything. I just don't get how an island isolated in the middle of the ocean that constantly gets people eaten hasn't been carpet bombed back to Atlantis by any world government.

Despite some animation limitations the writers have done a very good job with this. I’ve enjoyed it.
