Prey is now streaming on Hulu, and acclaimed poster artist Matt Ferguson has now shared a phenomenal new poster for the movie. It's a beautiful piece of imagery, and one we're sure would look amazing on any wall!

During a recent interview with Cassius Life (via SFFGazette.com), director Dan Trachtenberg opened up on his inspirations for this Predator reboot, pointing to the hit PlayStation video game franchise, God of War

"The answer is extremely," he said of how excited he is for November's Ragnarok, adding that "it’s the Predator shield, but even [Naru's] Tomahawk that she makes because she throws it and calls it back. It was very much inspired by playing that game. And yeah, I cannot wait for more for sure."

Since being released on Hulu earlier this month, there's been an overwhelmingly positive response to Prey. It's the best-reviewed Predator movie according to Rotten Tomatoes, and we're pretty sure that sequel news is on the way. Ultimately, that will come down to whether the reboot was a hit in terms of viewership, though recent news suggests it most definitely was

In our review, we wrapped up by saying, "Prey delivers pure Predator pandemonium, and is the Predator franchise at its best. It's also a much-needed fresh start for the series that allows Amber Midthunder to shine in a role that promises to put her on the map."

We don't know what form a follow-up will take, but a return to the Comanche Nation would be no bad thing as a back-to-basics approach to the franchise has proven to be exactly what it needed.

Makes sense. Right from the trailer, Kratos was my first thought. Never mind from the last game, the Blades of Chaos alone make for an obvious reference.

At last I got around to watching this now that I'm back home, just finished it actually. What a great film!! Finally, another good Predator film since the original classic. Its been soooo long since we have had quality Predator action, this movie definitely saved the franchise and is a welcome breath of fresh air.

I don't think any Predator film will ever top the original Predator movie for me, but this was very good. I loved how wild, animalistic, and ruthless this Feral Predator was, certainly the most unleashed we've seen a Predator. Midthunder did a really good job, as did her brother and of course the dog.

Predator head-canon ranking (ignoring the AvP films and Shane Black's atrocious disgrace of a movie):
1. Predator
2. Prey
3. Predators
4. Predator 2
