THE FORCE AWAKENS TRAILER OFFERS UP MAJOR SPOILER??

It looks as if the third trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens may have inadvertently given away one of the most pivotal scenes in the entire film if not the entire saga. I warn you... go no further if you don't want to go into theaters on December 18th with a heavy heart.

Well, I noticed something a bit furry when I watched the trailer and it wasn't just the hairs on the back of my neck standing up! I just happened to catch a glimpse of what looked like fur during the scene where Rey looks up sobbing. On closer inspection, it seems that it is indeed fur in the bottom righthand side of the screen and also it looks as if a bandolier and bandolier satchel can also be seen. I can only conclude that Rey is crying over the dead body of CHEWIE!!!!  To make matters even "darker" it seems they are in the same forest where we have seen numerous shots of Kylo Ren and Finn dueling. Unless something major is missing from these shots, it stands to reason that Kylo Ren kills Chewbacca!
 
Over on my twitter (https://twitter.com/SatterwhiteGuy)I took the shot of Rey and Chewbacca(?) and made it a bit easier to see the details. Simply lightening it up a bit and removing the blueish hue reveals what is unmistakably Chewie in a horizontal position on the forest floor. This is a sad day for Star Wars fans if this is indeed true. Of course, we've already lived through the death of Chewbacca once already in the now "Legends" story told in the book "Vector Prime." In it, Chewie dies the death befitting a noble wookie.
 
There have been rumblings on the internet as far back as April that either Han or Chewie would die and now it seems at least one has been confirmed. Is Han for the chopping block also? I guess we'll just have to wait and see in less than two months!

Chewbacca was the very first Star Wars figure I had bought for me as a kid,I will probably shed a tear if he dies.

Come on....everyone can tell it is chewie's hand cradling Han's face as Rey looks up at chewie. Han is a goner. Harrison Ford finally got his wish.

He had a frelling moon dropped on him by that race of mary sue's, the Yuzhann Vong.

Sure he saved Anakin Solo but that author punked him.

The last time Chewie died there was a huge boycott from Star Wars fans, the world over. I remember. People were not happy at all.
Of course Han is going to die, though. Harrison Ford wanted his character to die in Jedi, but they ended up changing it. I actually don't think Harrison would have even done another, unless Han died. Also, he is the Obi Wan/ Mentor archetype of this picture, so he has to die in a fight with Kylo Ren or whoever. Especially since Jar Jar is essentially giving us a glorified fan-film. It will pretty much follow A New Hope in story structure. And then he will throw in elements of Empire and Jedi. He's even got another fvcking Death Star.
And yes, by Jar Jar, I do mean Abrams.

Han dies, but that's not his body, nor is it anyone dead. A wounded Chewbacca, perhaps, but they are not going to spoil the death of a major character in the trailer.

What the @AsgardianHobo said. Several people have pointed out that this could be either Poe or Finn, seeing as how the body Rey is crying over has dark hair and is wearing a brown jacket.

It is a good theory, but I'm not sure I completely buy it...

(And I really, REALLY hope they don't just kill him off. Come on, it's Chewie! And besides, Wookie's have the longest life-spans. So much sequel potential! :P )

Odds are, Han dies and Chewie is just mourning him.

(Which is something else I don't want to see either...but hey, if it serves the story...)

And again, article looks much better without the blatant spoiler in the headline.

Threepio and Artoo are "On a break", due to Artoo screwing around with one too many service droids. It was the one from the American Graffitti-style café in Attack of the Clones that broke the camel's back. Ladies's man, Artoo is.
Threepio... not so much.
