SHAZAM Set Photos Confirm Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, And Harley Quinn Cameos...As Toys

Earlier this week, Zachary Levi teased a Batman cameo in Shazam and now some new set photos confirm that a number of DC Comics superheroes will be making an appearance...as plushies in a toy store!

When Zachary Levi shared a photo of a Batman action figure this week, he indicated that the Caped Crusader would be making a cameo appearance in Shazam. Well, we can now see he was being literal because fans have managed to snap some photos from the Toronto set of the movie confirming that a number of DC Comics character do indeed appear in the upcoming movie...in the form of soft toys!

As you can see, a store was built for the movie called "Treasure Time Toys" and inside are plushies featuring the likeness of characters like Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Harley Quinn. It's a nice Easter Egg for fans but more than a little ridiculous to think that toy companies in the DC Films Universe are manufacturing cuddly toys based on the likeness of a lunatic like Harley Quinn!

According to the Twitter user who shared the images, "A huge action sequence takes place in this built toy shop for Shazam. Inside looked like the old WB store. The costume looks so F’n awesome in action!" Suicide Squad mentioned Superman merchandise in this world so it's not unheard of but these probably aren't the cameos fans were hoping for. What do you guys think? Sound off below.

Merchandise for a mass murderer at a toy shop? And half the people in that universe hated Superman? That universe has got some strange ideals.

So in this universe they sell a toy of a psychopath who's the girlfriend of a murderous nutcase to children.

@ThePott - It's bizarre when you think about it. That's like a store selling a plush of Osama Bin Laden next to a plush of Martin Luther King. It's wrong, ridiculous, and makes zero sense.

Besides those plush dolls are prizes at Six Flags theme parks around the country. WB is getting lazy at this point with continuity and attention to detail.

@SonOfAGif - People wear Che Guevara merchandise and he was just as bad as Osama Bin Laden. So it kind of makes sense.

@SisterSunday52 - But Che Guevara merch isn't marketed to children.

Why the hell would any business sell toys of a well known criminal and terrorist??? Is that even legal? It would be like selling Osama Bin Laden pop vinyls.
