SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME Star Tom Holland Shares Set Video Leading To Hydro-Man Speculation

A couple of months before Spider-Man: Far From Home began filming, a rumor did the rounds which claimed that The Webhead would encounter Hydro-Man at some point during his travels around Europe, and while this set video is far from confirmation that the villain will appear, it has certainly fueled speculation.

Tom Holland posted the vid, which finds him joking about always doing his own stunts just as his Peter Parker stunt-double is yanked backwards after being hit with a huge volume of water.

What caused the wave is unclear from the footage, but Morris Bench, a.k.a. Hydro-Man, is definitely a pretty good guess. Could that be who Crazy Rich Asians actor Remy Hii will be playing, perhaps?

Check out the video below and let us know what you think in the comments.

@BreakTheCode - ha ha ha. right? It's probably an illusion from Mysterio.

@RocknRolla - Yes, THAT's the more likely scenario than Parker being attacked with water BY a water-based villain who has already been rumored to appear.

@RorMachine -
Considering that Mysterio is the villain of the film, yes it is. Or, even more likely, a large object fell into a body of water, causing a wave to hit Peter. Marvel films tend to have jokes like that.

Not sure why everyone has to always jump to "This means [Insert comics character here] is confirmed to be in the film!!!" More often than not, a cigar really is just a cigar.

"Yes, THAT's the more likely scenario than Parker being attacked with water BY a water-based villain who has already been rumored to appear."

The keyword in that sentence being "rumoured", and this is how rumours start.

@Darkknight2149 - lol.. right. Something fell in the water and the splash knocked Peter backwards like he was hit by a truck. That's it.

@RorMachine -
It's an MCU film made by Disney. Don't act like more ridiculous gags haven't happened.

@Darkknight2149 - Tell you what, you put your money on something falling in the water and I'll back Hydro-Man and we'll see what happens.
