Morbius doesn't hit theaters until April 1 (March 31 in The UK and Ireland), but early screenings took place in a few select locations over the weekend, and some intriguing details have now found their way online.
Spoilers for Morbius follow.
According to several sources, Adrian Toomes, aka The Vulture, does not actually appear in the movie despite featuring in the trailers. The villain does reportedly show up in the film's post-credits scenes (there are two, apparently), but the sequences are said to be completely different to those shots from the promos.
If this is accurate, Sony Pictures clearly made some significant changes to the movie pretty late in the game. Vulture was never going to be a huge part of the plot, anyway, but his removal does suggest that the studio decided to make Morbius more standalone in nature by playing down its connection/ties to the Spider-Man franchise.
We've also been made aware of a few reactions to the movie, and... yeah, keep an eye out for more when the embargo lifts on March 30!
