For the fans of the 90's cartoon series Marvel is giving you one hell of a Easter egg basket. You can relive, re watch the web slinger in his very own popular animated series that aired between 1994 and 1998 for 65 episodes. Starring the voice of Daniel Barnes as Peter Parker and Spider-Man. This from splashpage.mtv:

"Originally broadcast Saturday mornings on the Fox Kids Network, the series began in-progress with a 19-year-old Peter Parker already versed in fighting crime as Spider-Man and attending classes at Empire State University. Through the duration of the series, Spider-Man relives many of his comic book adventures battling the likes of the Green Goblin, Venom and others between working a freelance photojournalist gig at The Daily Bugle and courting Felicia Hardy and Mary Jane Watson. The web-slinger also crossed-over with allies such as Daredevil, the X-Men and Captain America during the series' run, which helped to flesh out a wider animated Marvel universe.

Interestingly, the series' first episode, "Night of the Lizard," established a broad animated continuity early on. While chasing The Lizard through the sewers of New York City, Spider-Man bemoans his every man status by comparing his adventures to those of his heroic contemporaries."

Hopefully Spider-Man 4 will pick up were the first episode of the 90's animated series started. Doc Conner's deserves his time on the big screen and we need to see a Spider-Man fighting for HIS life not Mary Jane's.
