Nice. I really liked May Parker back then. Not a fan of the many Spidermen this days, though...

It's not like they all live in the 616 universe and have their own comics. They're all parallel universe version of Spider-Man. So of course there are going to be a lot since there is an infinite amount of parallel worlds.

Hey Marvel here's a good idea, bring back May Parker to 616 canon and develop on peter having the responsibility of a father. I know better that him having Peter Pan syndrome

yeah, they really should make characters grow and age in 616... floating timeline is one thing i hate about comics.

@AXE

Yeah, I'll do just that. Only saying that it's a bit overwhelming to see the alternative Spideys everywhere (comics, videogames, tv animation...)

Cool I really liked May Parker. I always said they should let her become the main spider person and peter train her like ledgend of kora.

I absolutley loved Marvel 2 especially Darkdevil and Spider Girl. I would love for her to become cannon in 616 much like DC did with Batman Beyond.

Thanks a lot, Joe Quesada. You complete and utter dumbass.

Ah Mayday, so cool.

This looks like a super emotional re-introduction for her, love her to meet Anya at some point. All I need now is a good dose of mangaverse and this story is gonna be awesome.

.... Also how pleased are you that she's not 'Petra Parker' gggggrrrrr

All of you saying theres too many spider people are missing the point of spiderverse. Most of them are gonna die...

There are a lot of Spideys, aren't there... And a lot of X-Men, and basically everyone wearing spandex is an Avenger.
That time traveler in Marvel Now.1 wasn't lying. He told Fury that an explosion of superheroes was coming to make his life difficult.

Also neat if you think about how Madame Web predicted this whole situation two years ago.

People who are complaining about the allotment of Spider-Men/Women haven't been reading Spider-Man related books in the last 2 years.

Spiderman (Peter Parker)
Spiderman (Dr Octopus) Dead... Let's be honest, that won't be the case but he is right now. (The new Superior Spider-Man issues #32 and up have all taken place in the past.)
Spiderman (Miguel O'Hara) Currently hanging in the 616, which is a nice addition.
Scarlett Spider (Ben Reilly) Dead
Scarlett Spider (Kaine) Only appearing in New Warriors but that title has since been canceled?
Spider Woman (Jessica Drew) In Avengers' books, and rarely referred to as 'Spider-Woman' these days.
Spider Woman (Julia Carpenter aka Madame Web)
Spider Girl (Anya) I don't even know when her last major appearance was? Spider-Island?
Spider Girl (May Parker JR) Not in the 616 proper
Silk (Cindy Moon) I mean, yeah, but..uhh, whatever.

Seriously, people may PooPoo on Slott's work but he has done a great job of weaving in and out story lines and dropping hints that will take place well in the future. We always say we want something new an different and Slott has definitely delivered that in the last 2 years.

I want the MC2 to return. I love those books and Spider Girl was always the best of them.

@darklighter

You got it right,the oversaturation of Spider-types is insane.
Actually having a bad guy version like Venom is acceptable & Spidey 2099 is cool as a future version.
Having him in present time is stupid for the long term,get him back to the future!...yea,I said it.

Same with Wolverine,Hulk & a few others...having knock off versions of them just dilutes the original version. Stop it!

On the overwhelming se of the Spider men: Disney's Marvel is mostly toy commercials, what would you expect? The more costumes and storylines is just an excuse to sell more versions and give more variety. At least it is creative, but in my opinion, the House of Ideas ran out of ideas when they started "One More day" story line.
Heck Dc the new 52 also seems weird to me that everyone changed except Batman.
