As Spider-Man: No Way Home continues to dominate the global box office, the latest updates have confirmed that Sony Pictures' superhero threequel will officially pass the $500 million mark in The U.S. later today (if it hasn't already).

The critically-acclaimed Spidey adventure has already topped $1 billion worldwide, but after webbing-up an estimated $25.4M on Monday at 4,336 theaters, the movie now sits at $495.8M domestically. This means it's certain to swing past the half billion mark stateside today, and Deadline believes that a $750M final domestic haul is entirely possible.

No Way Home's second Monday haul came in above Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker ($15.3M), Avengers: Endgame ($10.7M) and Avengers: Infinity War ($8.2M), but failed to catch Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, ($32M), Star Wars: The Force Awakens ($31.3M) and Star Wars: The Last Jedi ($27.4M).

This would be an impressive feat under any circumstances, but in the midst of a pandemic it's pretty damn spectacular.

Universal's Sing 2 came in second on Monday with an estimated $7.6M, while Warner Bros.' The Matrix Resurrections clings on to third place with an estimated $1.7M for a running six day total of $24.2M (ouch).
