Schlock horror fan favorite Bruce Campbell recently answered questions about his role in the upcoming Spider-Man 3, directed by his friend Sam Raimi.

"Bruce said that he couldn't say much and was probably going to say too much, but he and Spidey will 'team up,'" a Superhero Hype source wrote of a recent interview. "He also bragged that the snooty usher is the only person to ever defeat Spider-Man in the movies.

"Later in the night, (with an enitrely different crowd) there was a screening of his film 'Bubba Ho-Tep.' He took more questions, and again Spidey 3 came up. This time, said that his role was 'pivitol.' Obviously a joke, but I'd be willing to be that he is definitely NOT Mysterio, as earlier rumors claimed."

Spider-Man 3 hits theaters on May 4, 2007.
