WARNING: SPOILERS FOLLOW BELOW SO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK
Good Evening fellow CBM family members. Lately it seems like we've all been having mixed ideas and feelings when it comes to the critical reception of Marc Webb's
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Recently there's been loads of heavy rumors and actual
proof that highlights several deleted scenes that sadly didn't make it into the film. In response to these rumors and photo leaks surrounding footage that may not have made it into the film a fan of Webb's Spider-Man franchise has respectfully created a petetion that reads...
To:
Sony Pictures and Director Marc Webb
Consider releasing a directors cut version of "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" to the general public on blueray and DVD. Due to the films alarmingly poor reception, this would help people to enjoy the film more.
As fans of "The Amazing Spider-Man" franchise, who want this to be an economic success, we implore you to take this action.
Sincerely,
[Your name]
The rumored/confirmed cut scenes are listed as:
-
An attack on Oscorp by the Green Goblin
-
An alternate scene in which a tumultuous scene is portrayed differently
-
Extended Times Square and Clocktower scenes
-
Another Peter/Gwen scene.
-
A scene with Max and his Mother
-
A possible espionage plotline in regards to Oscorp.
-
Mary Jane scenes
-
Norman Osborn "Head Scene"

We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead.
It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.
