The Amazing Spider-man 2: The Night Gwen Stacy Died (SPOILERS)

The Amazing Spider-man 2: The Night Gwen Stacy Died (SPOILERS)

After seeing a teaser yesterday for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 its main focus was Gwen's fate in the film, hit the jump to see my theory on how it might be played out from page to screen.

Editorial Opinion
By WebheadStudios - Jan 31, 2014 01:01 PM EST

Gwen is imprisoned at the clock tower. Green Goblin takes her to the sky and drops her down. Spidey comes and catches her and the both fall into the clock tower (Gwen is still alive.) Harry Osborn comes though the roof and fights Spidey, Spider-Man kicks him off his glider and Harry falls down Peter webs him realising he is still his childhood friend even for everything he has done.

Next Day: The night is over Norman Osborn takes the Oz formula and transforms into the Green Goblin (as his son didn't complete his set task, a proceeds to complete it himself.) Gwen and other New York citizens watch the bridge as a hint of green is spreading in the clouds, Gwen gets kidnapped by the Green Goblin. He takes her to the bridge, Peter realise something is wrong at the bridge and he swings though New York City to save Gwen and she meets her fate same way as the famous comic book "The Night Gwen Stacy Died."

Interesting theory...I feel like they're gonna kill her, but something in my gut is saying "They're doing all these things to make you think they're gonna kill her and them they don't. I'm the next movie they'll probably kill her off at the beginning and make him deal with that throughout the movie.

there is still that scene where they are at the top of the bridge (its seems) where peter tells her this is his path, i think he death probably happens right after that

Yah I hope he will go with rage attack after her death and beat the shit out of Gobby. I hope it won't just end with him holding her after the fight and funeral.

@MCUfan1

Yeah this kind of clock tower is in the power plant...it's probably some kind of control room but there are all those cogwheels that look like mechanism for the clock.

As for the editorial there's no way it's going to happen...that would be a mess and there's a certain scene in the "clock tower" that shows pretty clear that if anything bad happens it's going to happen there. Also with all the criticism that TASM got for repetition they won't do bridge scene cause it would happen all over again...it will happen similar but in other place and I have no problem with that. Also look at her clothes when she sits on the cogwheel...she's dirty and in the scene around the bridge her clothes are clean...it's clearly before the big fight.

After seeing the Superbowl spot and then the 3mins 50 secs spot on enemiesunite.com i think she is toast.

One seen is Spidey telling her he cant do it without her, then the catch, smash through the roof, drop catch her with the web, she looks up and it cuts to a scene where he is fightong, then in my eyes, it cuts back to what looks like Peter could be at the bottom of the clock tower, screaming as if he is on his hands and knees- check it out people and let me know if you think it could be right
