Spider-Man: No Way Home star Jamie Foxx was hospitalized a couple of months ago after suffering an undisclosed medical emergency, and some pretty bleak reports did the rounds online at the time.

Fortunately, the decline in Foxx's health proved to be greatly exaggerated, and he recently revealed that he was back on his feet and on the road to making a full recovery.

Now, the They Cloned Tyrone actor has shared an even more positive update.

“You’re lookin' at a man who is thankful, finally startin' to feel like myself," Foxx wrote on Instagram. "It’s been an unexpected dark journey, but I can see the light. I’m thankful to everyone that reached out and sent well wishes and prayers.”

He then added the hashtags, “I’m back and I’m better” and “No bad days.”

Foxx returned as Electro in No Way Home after debuting as the villain in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. There have been rumors that he may reprise the role at some point in the future, but nothing solid.

I thought we now hate him for allegedly (without proof) being a bigot?

@CoHost - Folks really projected their own beliefs onto that dude's neutral post and the sheer irony of it all was just hilarious.

Correct me if I missed something though, because I only saw the one post about "fake friends."

So now he's beloved again? Because last time I checked, a lot of mouth breathing, raised on social media, accuse first, ask no questions later Americans were having fit over a misunderstood post.

I am glad he's recovered and hope he stays healthy for a long, long time.

I gotta make time this weekend to watch They Cloned Tyrone.

Happy to hear he's doing better! Still weird how little we know about the situation, but for his sake, I'm glad he was able to maintain some amount of privacy.

And he's got a brand new film out to celebrate.

And it's got a lot of doggie balls in it. And by balls I do mean testicles.

This movie is basically what I imagine Super Pets would have been if it had been released by James Gunn's DC Studios.
