In the year 2099, Alchemax scientist Walter Sloan seeks to gain power and fortune by traveling back in time to the present day in order to use his knowledge of future technology to found Alchemax much ahead of time. This causes the future of 2099 to change to a dystopia where Alchemax rules the world with an iron fist. Miguel O'Hara / Spider-Man 2099 is aware of the plan and finds out that Sloan's actions are not only responsible for the changes in the timeline but will also cause the death of Peter Parker / Spider-Man at the hands of Anti-Venom. Miguel warns Peter of the impending danger, and both Spider-Men must work together across time to save the future and Peter Parker's life.

She is so frickin hot. I have thought that ever since she showed up on Smallville. This game looks cool though I might check it out.

I wish they would go back to the free roam environments of the older spider man games these new Non linear environments suck Edge of crap is what they should call it

So we actually get to see Peter Parker not in costume, thats pretty cool. This may not beat Arkham City but none the less it is still a day one purchase.

@soda9 Oh hell yeah. Just dye her hair red and she would be the best on screen Mary Jane. But honestly I would not mind her playing Supergirl again but this time done right. I really hope she makes it big, she was great in both Smallville and V.

Narrowing it down to two main characters could make for a more linear, not to mention coherent, storyline. Hopefully, there avoiding the 'levels' aspect of that one and going with switching characters at certain plot points. I've always liked the 2099 costume the best out of all of them.

Calm down kids, it's gonna be a nice day. This game looks better than that last hot mess "Shattered Dimensions" I couldn't get 2099 to move right and Noir just plain sucked.

@MaddMonkk The Noir parts tried to be too much like Batman Arkham City and fell flat on its ass for doing so. There were some elements of it that I liked but Noir was not as good as the other Spidey univerises.

With those cut scene graphics and the awesome voicework this would make a fantastic straight-to-DVD film.

In the same vein as Resi Evil: Degeneration and Tekken: Blood Vengeance!

Now that we have had Shattered Dimensions and will have Edge of Time, there are 2 more games that i want to see Beenox take on. A free roaming Spider-Man 2099 game and a game that lets you play as symbiotes. It would be like Shattered Dimensions exept intead of playing as 4 different versions of Spider-Man, you would play as Venom, Anti-Venom, Carnage, and Toxin. Hell, I'd take a game with just Venom too.

Wow... is it just me or why does everyone who has been a superhero flick or show can only get jobs in another superhero thing... first kara now Mj? Thats pathetic!!! What are the chances that the next big gig Tom Welling will get is in something to do with superheroes...

I am now on the Laura Vandervoort Mary Jane band wagon for ASM II.. I don't know why I never thought about her as MJ before consider I'm a fan of V and Smallville... I think she should go for the role.
