Blu-Ray Cover For SUICIDE SQUAD Extended Cut Revealed Along With How Many Minutes Of Extra Footage We'll Get
Following the announcement that Suicide Squad is getting an extended cut later this year, WB has unveiled some cool cover art along with details on how many minutes of new footage we're getting.
The Ultimate Edition of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice changed that movie in a fairly significant way, but will that also be the case for Suicide Squad? Time will tell, but Warner Bros. has now sent out a press release revealing that the extended edition of the David Ayer helmed release will add an aditional 13 minutes of new content. What that will consist of obviously remains to be seen for now.
The special features and deleted scenes haven't been announced as of yet, but it will be interesting to see if the moment featuring The Joker confronting Task Force X (that could be seen in the trailers) is included anywhere in this set. Either way, more of the Clown Prince of Crime seems inevitable, and that's something which should make Jared Leto feel a little happier after having so many scenes cut.
Also below is the current Blu-ray cover art and a special steelbook edition which will be sold in HMV in the UK. Expect more of these to be revealed as we get closer to the home release of Suicide Squad.
