Here is the excerpt courtesy of E! Online. I guess we should probably stop hoping for a Batman/Superman team-up anytime soon! To be fair though, you can't blame Bale for perhaps not knowing who Cavill is when he was caught off guard in this way! Be sure to share your thoughts in the usual place.



So, Batman to Superman, what is Bale's reaction to Henry Cavill's casting in the Christopher Nolan-produced Man of Steel movie? None. He stares kinda blankly at a reporter for a beat or two, clearly having never, ever heard of Cavill. Finally, he summons a blurb you can be assured will not appear on a DVD box anytime soon, "Well done for whoever you mentioned."


The Dark Knight Rises is set to be released on July 20, 2012 with Superman: The Man of Steel following soon after sometime in the Winter.

Steps to get a front page story:

1. Make up a quote of an actor saying something good/bad about a current project.
2. Cite some random "reputable" website as the source material. Even if made up.

My bad about the video guys! It won't play for me for some reason, and it was included in the original article with that quote...that's why I automatically assumed that they were related! I'll removie it now. :) It's kind of sad to see an honest mistake causes so much bitching though.

Christian Bale is so bad-ass, he does have a freaking point that he hasn'tabout this guy. I still think though Henry Cavill being Superman is totally the best pick because if by some chance we do get this Nolan World's Finest movie, Bale's Batman is going to push around Cavill's Superman

LOL.....EPIC FAIL!!!!......Bale is probably very busy with the award season that he doesn't keep track of comic news like us. Did anyone else see the SAG awards, after he won, he made an off camera yell after Marky Mark said something?.....Also the real dicky came up and interrupted him, thats fine, no flipping out.....but a guy who walks behind him in a movie... WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!!!

Hey! Guy probably work all the time and when he is in holiday i dont think he has the time to watch movies and tv-series so i think its understandable that he doesnt know who Cavill is.
After all Cavill hasnt don anything very big yet.
His biggest roles are in Tudors, Town Creek and Whatever Works. And soon in The Cold Day of Light and Immortals.
Bale cant remember everyones names.
