We recently asked you to cast your votes and choose your favourite live-action Batman. We'll be sharing the results of that poll soon - you can still vote by clicking here - and have another big question to ask you in the meantime.

Who is your favourite live-action Superman?

The little-known Kirk Alyn was the first actor to play the Man of Tomorrow in the 1940s, though George Reeves is the better-known Superman of that era after starring in a long-running TV series the following decade. After a lengthy absence from the screen, Christopher Reeve played the hero in a great movie, a good movie, and two bad ones.

John Haymes Newton and Gerard Christopher both starred as "Superboy" in an obscure TV series in the late 80s/early 90s, though we'll forgive those of you who have never heard of it!

Dean Cain took over for Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, and while the actor has become a divisive figure, he's a Clark Kent we know many of you grew up on. In the early 2000s, Kal-El went through another evolution with Tom Welling (never) suiting up in Smallville, a teen drama that's become a beloved cult classic.

Back on the big screen, Bryan Singer attempted to pick up where Superman II left off by casting Brandon Routh as the Reeve-era Man of Steel. It didn't entirely work, but everyone was overjoyed to see the actor get a second chance in The CW's Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover.

After several projects tried and failed to get off the ground, it was Henry Cavill's turn to play this iconic DC Comics superhero in Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Justice League and, uh, Black Adam

His time as the hero has since ended, but Tyler Hoechlin continues to play the hero on TV in Superman & Lois. That series is also nearing its end, though, as DC Studios looks to pave the way for a new Kal-El in 2025's Superman: Legacy.

So, which of these live-action Superman actors is your favourite? Cast your votes in the poll below and check back here shortly for the sure-to-be much-discussed results...

The answer is dean Cain. He will beat up any villain and then fly to Fox news to give an interview on how he stopped the woke villain😐🤕

@AmazingFILMporg - oh you're just upset he breaks the narrative that people can't accept a minority as superman.

Remember, his actual last name is tanaka.

First, it's hard to say. After no way home it's hard to compare different versions since they all have their own qualities to them.

I'd probably rank routh from returns as the worst only because he was stuck being the reeves superman again, but crisis did a good job letting him define his take as more unique.

Second, really not a fan of Gunn directing. When talking about dc projects he'd want to work on during the press for the suicide squad, he specifically pointed out he turned down superman because everyone has their idea of what a superman movie should be and it doesn't give much freedom. So I really don't know what's changed now that he wants to both write and direct.
