The Future of The Amazing Spider-Man Universe *SPOILERS*

The Future of The Amazing Spider-Man Universe *SPOILERS*

I just got back from seeing this and, just like the first, I thought this was a mixed bag. I thought there was huge potential for the second one, but I was disappointed. With that said, I still have faith and believe the future has HUGE potential, if done right. Here's how:

The Amazing Spider-Man

The Amazing Spider-Man 2

Sinister Six

I'm super iffy about this film, but it has been announced, therefore, I'm gunna talk about it. This film should pick up literally right where the 2nd one ended, Rhino and Spidey fight, but it obviously ends with Rhino managing to get away since he'll be in the 6. This film would essentially feature Spider-Man only in the beginning and the end. The main story would be Harry and The Man in Shadows setting up the 6, with the lineup being: Green Goblin, Rhino, Dr. Octopus and Vulture (I haven't really made my mind up as far as the last 2 because I'm not very familiar with Spidey's rogues). Through the course of the film we'd see the origins of Doc Ock, Vulture and the other 2, they would fight (So we get our action fill) and eventually form. The film would end with the 6 finally together and they go to Spidey's house (Because Goblin found out he was peter at the end of 2). Here, they basically kick the crap out of him and leave him seemingly dead, announcing to the city they're in charge now, etc. Also throughout the film, we would see Felicia Hardy involved in the formation, but she begins to realize what they're doing is wrong. In the end, she steals the symbiote from Oscorp, we'll find out why later.

The Amazing Spider-Man 3
The first half hour or so would take place after Spidey's fight with Rhino from the Sinister Six, but from Peter's perscecptive. Here, we would deal with how Peter is coping with Gwen's death and how the people/media of NYC are not really fans of Spidey anymore because 2 people have been involved with him and died. Also, there would be NO MARY JANE. It makes absolutely no sense that Peter would get another girlfriend after being proven right that it's dangerous to get close with girls. Then we would see quickly the ass beating he receives at the end of Sinister Six. The rest of the film would basically be him coming back and building up to fight the Sinister Six. Felicia Hardy gives him the symbiote knowing it will give him the upper hand in this fight and he loves it. By the end, he defeats most of the Sinister Six and keeps the symbiote, but the city still doesn't trust him, especially because of the new suit which makes him much more aggressive.

Venom
This film is pretty straightfoward, Spidey is using the symbiote and trying to find Harry, who makes it out of 3. Eddie Brock is introduced and we see everything that comes with him getting the suit. He hates Spidey, but isn't really a bad guy, more of an anti-hero. He fights Spidey, but then is also willing to save other people. He would be the main focus of the film, with Peter and Felicia involved. Felicia would begin to become Black Cat. In the end, Venom would be arrested because nyc would want to lock up any vigilantes/villians after the death of 2 people and money done in damages.Brock's cell mate @ Ravencroft would be Cletus Kasady, something Harry has arranged, setting up Spider-Man 4.

The Amazing Spider-Man 4
This would essentially be the complete conclusion to Peter Parker and his universe. Harry sets up Kasady to be Brock's cell mate @ Ravencroft because he knows that the symbiote has a great chance of killing spider man when fused with Kasady. Harry's role would be similar to the mob in The Dark Knight because they let the "mad dog" joker out of the bag. The symbiote comes looking for Brock and instead fuses with Kasady, creating carnage, who then breaks out of prison in a crazy awesome rampage that really shows his power. In the meantime, Peter has been having a rough time because of all the hate hes receiving from the city. He contemplates helping them after everything and reflects on what it is to be a superhero. Basically, carnage goes absolutely wild throughout the movie and spider-man fights him to a lose. In the epic conclusion, Spidery breaks into Ravencroft in order to break Venom out. They have a moment reflecting on Brock's childhood and how their fathers developed this suit so it's their responsibility to fight Venom. Venom is an anti-hero and therefore, agrees it is best to team up despite their differences. The two fight Carnage in an epic finale in NYC and The Green Goblin, not really working in a partnership with Carnage, takes advantage of Carnage winning and fights Spider-Man. Felicia, now fully the Black Cat, comes and helps them in the fight as well, trying to take on The Green Goblin. Throughout the movie, Felicia and Peter develop a bit of a relationship. Peter knows he shouldn't do this because of Gwen and the fact that Felicia helped form the Sinister Six/gave him the symbiote suit, both of which ended badly for them. Throughout the fight, NYC citizens and NYPD begin to realize that Spider-Man really is their hero. Also, I think it would be awesome to see Spidey and Venom fighting Carnage together. In the end, Spidey would sacrifice himself to save the day and kill Carnage/The Green Goblin. In death, Peter realizes what it means to be a superhero, knowing Gwen would be proud of him for actually saving people he loves! That would essentially be Peter's arc across the universe, coming to terms with whom he is and how his past has built to this, it was his destiny to become this superhero NYC needed.

Well, if you're still with me, I hope you enjoyed. I know it was a bit of a rant and a little messy, but that could all be sorted out with more detail. As for the future behind that, perhaps they can begin a new Spidey universe with Miles Morales, in a different city with different villians to keep it more fresh and interesting. Let me know what you think and how you would plan out the rest of The Amazing Spider-Man Universe.

I feel like your spin offs are to woven in with the regular Spidey movies. I'd rather have Eddie Brock/Venom be the villain in the 3rd and then have the Venom movie be about Agent Venom. I have no clue what they're going to do with S6, but I hope it's good.

Amazing Spider Man 3 the villain should definitely be Eddie Brock/Venom and Mary Jane if anything she is essential to this franchise definitely essential so she is definitely needed whether we like it or not as well as other characters like J. Jonah Jameson, Liz Allen, Betty Brant, etc.

But for Amazing Spider-Man 4 Carnage definitely needs to be the villain for that or even Sandman or Kraven the Hunter

I like agree with your ideas. But what about Peter's parents story arc. I thought this film franchise was also focussing on his parents.

The one thing I didn't agree on was your idea on MaryJane. Who says Peter has to move on, and have to date her. She can be just a friend at first. She was just a friend after Gwen died in the comics. But this doesn't have to be 100% faithful to the comic book.
