It really is a compelling shot when you think about it: here is a super powered alien allowing himself to be handcuffed and taken into custody(presumably in an effort to demonstrate that he's not a threat).

Wasn't this the SECOND photo they released for this movie?!?

"New" this is NOT.

Having said that, I really hope lois lane turns him over to the government first. I think it would be really interesting for her character, as a journalist, to see through kal el's disguise and exploit an opportunity..

That's just me tho lol.

Lol at the fat guard on the left, great casting. Must be a producers brother or gay lover or something.

As much I'm waiting to see some great pics from this movie, I'm glad they aren't releasing anything. Christopher Nolan movies over the years have been great for a lot of reasons, one of which is the anticipation. Even the weaker films are just as fun because you really didn't know much about them going into the theater. Even the smallest of surprizes or slightest twists in the story are unexpected and thereby fresh. I felt like so many of the big scenes in The Avengers were teased in the trailers that I had little anticipation when watching it.

TDKR, well not as strong as BB or TDK, was infinitely more enjoyable for me than The Avengers because I had no idea where the story was going and I was genuinely surprised by most of it. Even the parts I didn't like I thought to myself "huh, well, I didn't expect that". Thats what makes movies fun and memorable.

Like many of you, I can't resist reading the spoilers sometimes, but in the long run, I'm glad Nolan keeps his films under wraps until they hit the big screen. A few months of torture is worth it to truly see a movie for the first time in the theater.

Besides Marvel is releasing 18 suits of Iron Man armor every day to distract us....
