Shawn Ashmore talked with Coming Soon about rumors that he may play Daily Planet photographer Jimmy Olsen in the upcoming Superman movie. Ashmore played Bobby Drake/Iceman in the X-Men movies directed by Bryan Singer who is now helming the Man of Steel film.

Also, Superman co-writer Dan Harris told Sci Fi Wire that production on the film is huge. "I thought that [X2] was a big movie, but this scope is another step bigger," Harris said. "It's [being shot on] a permanent backlot. It will be like a permanent New York City-slash-Metropolis."
