Well I hope they stick to the original comic book story line and make it as realistic and adult as it should be, but the market for the TMNT have been for children so I'm sure that they will go that route, and really you cannot blame them for following the dollars, but hey! here is to hope...

the original movie followed the comics pretty well and it was decently "dark", so if they follow the formula they used with the first movie they can make this kick ass.

The only reason the 2nd and 3rd movies weren't as dark as the first was because parents complained about the first one being to violent but with movies like Dark Knight now they can pull it off and still make it "kid friendly"

I'm pretty certain that the 2nd ninja turtles movie is considered by far the best of the triology by most people.
Sure, the first may have been more realistic... but how realistic do you need to be in a story about humanoid turtles (of all the animals one can choose) who act like teenagers but are somehow also ninja?

I wonder if they are going to get Ernie Reeves Jr. back...

i think its safe to say that vanilla ice will not "rap" at the end of the movie.
