Conceptual artist Craig Shoji, who had the opportunity to work on Marvel & Kenneth Branagh's epic adventure THOR, has unloaded several conceptual art pieces from the well-received film, revealing amazing initial designs for the Asgard, & more!

Thor spans the Marvel Universe from present day Earth to the realm of Asgard. At the center of the story is The Mighty Thor, a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth and forced to live among humans as punishment. Once here, Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth. And Starring Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins, Idris Elba, Ray Stevenson, Stellan Skarsgård and Tom Hiddleston, the film released May 6!

I liked the movie it just seemed rushed. I wanted to see alot more of Asgard. Hopefully they do a second movie and we get to see more. The artwork is great I was def impressed with the bridge.

agreed about the rushed vibe and the artwork looking better (it always does, tho)

but the movie didnt pay attention to the details of Asgard, just showed the sets in some shots, but nothing more.

@Dynamo, hate to be a nay-sayer, but I tend to disagree. I was looking at the concept art thinking to myself, "Wow, they really translated that well to the film..." Different strokes, I guess!

This Asgard is like Hogwarts. So awesome, you just wish they spend more and more time there only. Kinda why I wish Thor was like a Harry Potter movie in a sense.

The design team deserves like every reward for outstanding art.

As an aspiring artist I just have to start crying, cuz there's no way in hell I could ever do something as beautiful as that. I hope Thor has a really strong word of mouth and makes alot more money. I really want a sequel that can explore alot more of the mythology.

AWESOME concept artworks...but, with the money spent on em, how else do you expect em to be?

by the way, Intruder..thank's so much for that clip of Duel of the Century (is it?)..watched it when i was in elementary school, but, watching it again, NOW, after for so long...the finale just seems TRULY overblowingly EPICALLY what a movie kung fu fight should be like...truly ass kicking. the cinematography, fight choreography and the editing..really ought to be studied.

Love the concept art! too bad it doesn't translate into the film that nicely. Dammit I wanted more Thunder in this movie, Arrghhhh. Thor never said for Odin, for asgard!!!

I like Asgard with a little more color to it than just gold. Kinda wish they had gone with that. Still, it was a damn good movie.
