At this years C2E2 expo Chris Hemsworth talked about the huge sets that were made for
Thor.
"[We used] a ton of physical sets," Hemsworth said. "We had these big warehouses full of them... The Frost Giant world had big glaciers and [ice constructs] for us to work with. Looks so much better on screen."
He also said talked about the reason director,Kenneth Branagh, used more physical sets compared to CG.
"Audiences aren't silly; Can't trick them to believe that something CG is actually the real thing."
Hemsworth also talked about having seen the movie already.
"The film is so well put together. It's a blend of fantasy and sci-fi... I was swept along like an audience member and able to enjoy it like an audience member. Very happy with finished film."
He also yelled the famous
"FOR ASGARD!" at the request of a fan.
