Marvel.com has unveiled the full international poster for the much-anticipated Kenneth Branagh-directed THOR movie. You may recognize it, as cut-off version was released some time earlier this month. Enjoy it's fullness! To enlarge, click on the poster below.

Directed by Kenneth Branagh, the epic adventure "Thor" spans the Marvel Universe from present day Earth to the realm of Asgard. At the center of the story is The Mighty Thor, a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth and forced to live among humans as punishment. Once here, Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.

While it seems the Marvel crew have come up with a final cut via Brian Bendis' tweet, THOR hits the big screen May 6, in 3D!

Although I still think it could be better, I think this poster looks a lot better since we can actually see his whole body. The cape looks fantastic.

I don't understand why they make posters like this. Would it be that much more effort to make something cooler, like the cover of an actual comic?

Im noticing that most of the posters are hiding the pants... I think they've caught on that they look stupid and trying to hide them.

@maxleresistant - You can just post a link to the photo and it will automatically convert it.

The problem here is that you posted 2 bad URL's.

How about some actual lightning action in the background. I know he isn't the god of lightning but I think it gets the message across

@Gaston I agree with you man, these posters are OK but Thor is the God of Thunder , they should release one like the pic you just posted. Power and Thor are synonyms and I haven't seen that reflected on any poster.

@ phoe1 That was excellent!

Agree with you all, that it should be more of a comic book poster; with more action than him just standing there.
VictorHugo

he needs more of an angry JAMES HETFIELD pose.
The guy from Metallica was the inspiration for the Ultimate Thor, and some of that attitude could be inserted here.

It looks nice so far, but he needs more Heavy Metal in it. He´s the god of Thunder, not the god of the clean red velvet curtains.

The posters keeps getting better, by the time the movie actually hit theaters. he will be not only wearing the helmet, but also wielding his hammer into a frost giants head while lightnings strike in the bagground!!
