It looks as though Michael "Boom-Boom" Bay is living up to his reputation of blowing stuff up. The Associated Press is reporting that an extra on the film of "Transformers 3" was seriously injured while performing a stung.
"Authorities say the 'Transformers 3' crew was filming late Wednesday in the Chicago suburb of Hammond, Ind., using several vehicles and drivers. Police say something went wrong and an object went through the windshield of a car, hitting the driver. In a statement, police said the vehicle kept going for a mile before stopping."
The extra's name was not released. He was airlifted to a local hospital for treatment. As many of us know, "Transformers 3" has been filming in the Chicago area all summer.
"Transformers 3" is Michael Bay's latest and last installment in the series and stars Shia "The Beef" LaBoeuf, Rosie Huntington-Whitley, Patrick Dempsey, and John Malkovich and is set to release next summer.
