The WALKING DEAD Season 9 Trailer Is Here And It Teases Civil War, Negan's Return, And More

As is tradition, AMC released an extended trailer for The Walking Dead season nine during its Comic-Con panel and you can check it out right here! It definitely looks like a different show...mostly!

The Walking Dead season nine will premiere on AMC on October 7th and you can watch the first trailer below. It instantly makes it clear that there will be a time jump when the series returns and that means this world now looks a whole lot different to what we're used to. Unfortunately, everything else does look like more of the same (more drama between the survivors and plenty of zombies) but if you're a fan of the show, that's not necessarily a bad thing and there's still lots to get excited about here.

For example, it looks like a war could be brewing between Rick Grimes and his fellow survivors, while Negan is clearly going to be a constant presence in his old enemy's life now he's locked up. We also get to meet some of the new characters coming to the show but as for who or what will be season nine's big bad, that's not made clear as the focus is very much on those we're already familiar with.

Regardless, it's a cool trailer and should definitely get you excited for what's to come. During the panel, Andrew Lincoln made his departure from The Walking Dead 100% official and there are a few teases here about how he could end up leaving so keep an eye out for them! What do you guys think about this first look at season nine? As always, share your thoughts in the comments section down below.

Here for it. For me the pros still out-way the cons with this show.

I just don’t understand how they can have a tv show without Rick Grimes. Daryl Dixon is an uninteresting character that shouldn’t lead a show. The quality has dipped every season since the 3rd (I could even argue it hasn’t been the same since Jon Bernthal left). They should pull the plug now.

What Chloe Bennet has to say about her character in Marvel Rising: Secret Warrior's.
"She's a little bit lighter. She's the younger version of Daisy...it's fun. She's a little bit lighter and she has more of a sense of humor. She's more like Skye, which is the character I actually auditioned for. It's just really fun because I can do massive fight sequences and I don't get one bruise or break a sweat. Actually I do [in the booth]... No broken bones. I didn't get punched in the face."

Meh. I haven't watched religiously since Season 5 or 6. With Rick leaving this show is pretty much done.
