On the next episode of Supergirl, it looks like we're going to learn a lot more about Lena Luthor's past when her ex-boyfriend Jack Spheer arrives in town with a major breakthrough in nano-technology and possibly an ulterior motive. Meanwhile, Kara will attempt to win over Snapper Carr and get her old job back, but her overeager line of questioning at Jack's Biomax press conference leads to an even bigger investigation and puts National City in immediate danger.

"IZOMBIE'S" RAHUL KOHLI GUEST STARS - Lena's (guest star Katie McGarth) ex-boyfriend, Jack Spheer (guest star Rahul Kohli), comes to National City to unveil his big breakthrough in nano-technology, which has the potential to eradicate all diseases. Lena asks Kara to attend Jack's conference with her for support. When Kara sees Snapper (guest Star Ian Gomez) in attendance she's inspired to tap back into her reporter skills and questions Jack on his discovery, which ultimately leads to a bigger investigation that puts everyone in danger. The hour-long drama centers on Kara Zor-El, Superman's cousin, who was born on the planet Krypton and escaped amid its destruction years ago. Since arriving on Earth, she has been hiding the powers she shares with her famous cousin. But now at age 24, she decides to embrace her superhuman abilities and be the hero she was always meant to be.
