Avengers: Infinity War was released earlier this year to critical acclaim and a massive $2 billion haul at the worldwide box office. Titans, meanwhile, is a TV series which is airing on Warner Bros.' new DC Universe streaming service so to say that these two comic book adaptations are very different would be something of an understatement!
However, Hawk actor Alan Ritchson has now made a case for why he believes Titans is better than the Marvel Studios movie and, well, this is bound to generate discussion among comic book fans.
"I think I’m just excited that the fans are finally getting a really raw, human look at superheroes," he recently told CBR about what he believes makes Titans special. "I think, for me, the reason I don’t go see Infinity War movies or whatever these are is because there’s no stakes in it. Everybody feels invincible all the time." Invincible in a movie where half the heroes turned to dust?!
That aside, it's sort of understandable to see where Ritchson is coming from, especially as he plays a character in the show who doesn't have superpowers and is obviously a lot more vulnerable than a character like Iron Man or The Hulk! What do you guys think? Do you believe the stakes are higher in Titans than they were in Avengers: Infinity War?
