Agent Carter TV show, How could it actually work?

How should the Agent carter show look? How could it actually be interesting and make the universe better? I'll try and show a few ways how.

Agent carter show is coming up eventually.  Frankly I didn’t think it was a good idea… but then after a little bit of thinking, I may have found a couple characters that could make the show just interesting enough to get by.  Here I have a small little idea box for the TV show and how I hope it is created.

Peggy Carter

First off of course Peggy carter has to be the head of Shield right now.  Shield should be newly born and a small organization with minimal resources.  They should be based in New York.  I’m hoping they set it up where she is able to take people with his on combat missions throughout.  Peggy herself should be somewhat over Captain America now, much like in the Agent Carter one shot, but still have small sadness for him.  Eventually this story should tell how she was married also.  This show really has to be about her, how she ran Shield, and what she was like on a personal level as well.

Howard Stark

I think he should be the next biggest character on the show.  One of the better characters in the first movie, I hope to see him as the technician of Shield.  Kind of like Fitz from Agents of Shield.  Coming up with the stuff they need when they need it.  He doesn’t have to be in every episode, just a get him involved.  His biggest thing is I think he should build the Human Torch, Jim Hammond. But I’ll get to that later.

The Howling Commandos

Shield should use these guys as their elite force.  Maybe not even the whole team, maybe not even call them the howling commandos, but bring a few of them in so Peggy has a little help going on missions and taking out villains.  I think at least Dum Dum Dogun  should show up, and hopefully Jack Fury.  Jack Fury doesn’t need a huge amount of screen time, but give him a little bit of stuff to do, it’s an easy little hint to Nick Fury that cause an “Ahhh I see” moment from the none comic book readers.

Union Jack

Union Jack should show up for a small amount of time, in costume of course. Have him in the time in-between Captain America and this show turn into a top notch British specialist, sent on a mission in America or something.  Perhaps tracking down a villain.  Give him a small incentive to stay for a few episodes.  I’ll expand on him in a moment as well.

Jim Hammond

The Human Torch should be an android, first of his kind.  Give him his powers from the comics, maybe tone it down for budget purposes. He should only be in for a few episodes, the amount of power he has would be overshadowing of the rest of the show.  But man would it be awesome to get him on screen.  I’ll elaborate on how to get him on screen more later.

US Agent.

Finally I think I found out how to get this guy on screen.  Super-Patriot should start out a villain.  Now, again the origins will have to change a tad, but he should be attempting to possibly infiltrate Shield, or something along those lines.  Just give him a reason to do what he’s doing.  Either way, Peggy should be his turning point.  Help him become one of their specialists as US agent.  Reveal that he was given some form of a super soldier serum.  Give him one of Starks sweet shields from the first captain america film as well.  There is a villain that I’ll talk about later that I feel that Shield will focus on taking down.  US Agent will be asked to lead an infiltration team to take him down head on.  US Agent will ask Union Jack to join his team, and the big addition will be Jim Hammond being asked to join up.  (Until now Stark could have been keeping him under wraps, and training him). I think you all know where I’m going, this small team will be named the Invaders for the show.  I think it would be a great addition to the show, maybe do a three episode story arc setting all this up with the invaders from start to finish.

Now for the villains.

The Zodiac

After the one shot I think these guys will be a go for the show, at least a few episodes.  Small organization, the only really notable character in their ranks is Jake Fury, brother of Nick Fury.  If they make a Nick Fury movie/TV show expect him to show up.  However I don’t think the chances of that are very high.  So who knows, maybe find a way to twist Jake into the show.  Possibly make him Jack Fury’s brother instead.  We will see. I think the Zodiac will make a solid villain squad for the first few episodes of the show.

National Force

This Neo-Nazi organization would be a good fit for the show.  Lead by the Grand Director, it would make a good mid-season villain in my opinion.  I think the organization should be attacked in the mid-season, and really set up a change for the show (like Agents of Shield did) as far as focus. After National Force is broken I think the Grand Director should commit suicide, here Peggy should find evidence of him being part of a bigger plan.

Javelynn

Minor character in the comics, I think would have a good amount of potential to add something to the show.  I think Javelynn should be like the witch king in lord of the rings in a way.  Early on we should see her attack Peggy.  Essentially make her an assassin that is constantly on her trail attacking her, trying to kill her.  It adds an intensity to the show, as well as the question of why does she want Peggy dead.

Secret Empire

This is what the Grand Director and his National Force should point to.  The Secret Empire, in my opinion the third largest villain organization in Marvel Comics.  Their number one should be Anthony Power, or Professor Power.  This will create the threat we need for the show.  Union Jack will have fought a small amount of Secret Empire in Britain, and out that their leader Anthony Power is in America, and he came to take him down.  After letting them know Anthony power has a battle suit that can kill any of them, they decide to ask the android human torch for help. Now, after the invaders have defeated Anthony Power, man behind it all should show up.  Dr. Faustus.  He should find a way to destroy the Human Torch, and begin his task of crippling Shield.  Again now we lose Human Torch, who can always be rebuilt (if Marvel wants him later on).  Union Jack now would have returned to Britain, removing him but as always he could come back if the show needs him to. Dr. Faustus now should be revealed to have given the Grand Director his powers, Build Anthony his battle suit, and sent Javeynn after Peggy.  Maybe even give US Agent his powers.

What does this set up? A Shield vs Secret empire style show for season two (or the remainder of season one depending on when the invaders happens)  personally I think it’s a great idea.  So what do you think? Stupid? Genius? Let me know down below.

I'd also go for Helmut Zemo, and General Phillips could kinda be like Nick Fury on AOS, as far as being a big actor cameo in an episode or two.

If there is a season two that's when I'd say they use Heinrich Zemo. (essentially when they know the show is going to be around for a while) Baron Helmut Zemo should be the cap 3 villain. since he's superpowered, and a better fighter in my opinion. Not to mention masters of Evil.

Thanks, I was mixed up on their names. Should've just said "Zemo 1".

I'd be fine with him being introduced as the villain of the season finale, setting up as the heavy for season 2. I'd also love if the younger Zemo appeared in season 2 of AOS, setting up an almost crossover kinda thing between the series.

These Marvel shows, that are on ABC, are a very different animal from most network shows. Disney owns the network, and so even if it's not a HUGE success, they can have a second season if they want to.

I like it, but there needs to be an episode where they go to Wakanda and meet Azzari the wise. It just needs to happen. Also I've heard that Marvel owns tv rights to all characters not just animated rights. If so then they can use Namor as an Invader.

Spot On! I thought Secret Empire would be the perfect over arching villain. I also thinking they should explain using EX-Hydra Scientists in order to defeat Secret Empire. I would like to see some Villains from the WW2 era and communist Era and introduce some Communist villains like Crimson Dynamo and Omega Red.

@Trickwil oh that could be sweet, like using Zola to take down secret empire, would fit a big hole of why they took zola on board.

I think it would be great if these character's where utilized on the show. Great work. Introducing the Invader's on the tv show would be great too.
