We've seen a lot from Hawkeye over the past couple of weeks, including a first look at Kate Bishop's badass superhero costume. Now, another batch of set photos have surfaced, and these put the spotlight on the Tracksuit Mafia that Clint Barton dubbed the "Tracksuit Draculas" in the comic books.
Introduced in Matt Fraction and David Aja's comic book run, Hawkeye's war with these gangsters got pretty nasty and led to them sending an assassin named Clown (who we know will be part of the Disney+ TV series) after him. As expected, Marvel Studios is sticking close to the source material with Hawkeye, and that's evident from what these latest photos reveal about these "Draculas."
In the Instagram post below, we see an actor with a handlebar moustache who definitely appears to be playing Ivan Banionis. Why he's wearing a black tracksuit instead of a red one is hard to say, but it really wouldn't be the end of the world if something as simple as that had been changed.
Something that really resonated with fans was the fact that these Eastern European baddies frequently said the word "Bro," and Hawkeye is seemingly paying homage to that by having them run a company called "Trust a Bro." As Easter Eggs go, there's no denying that it's a clever nod to the source material!
