Whether you loved the first season of Iron Fist or hated it, the show is returning with a second season which will begin shooting in New York City this fall.

Early December will see Finn Jones, Jessica Henwick and co. begin shooting for season 2 of the Marvel Comics-based series. Regardless of the negative criticism that the show received, it will continue on with a new show-runner. Previous Iron Fist writer will be taking over Inhumans from current series writer, Scott Buck.

It's predicted that Iron Fist will be aiming for a late 2018 to early 2019 release, which fits in with the development of Jessica Jones season 2 which wrapped up several months ago. Daredevil season 3 is set to begin filming next week, and Luke Cage is currently in production. The newest addition coming to the Netflix/Marvel shows will be The Punisher, which premieres in less than a week on November 17, which has Jon Bernthal reprising his role as Frank Castle.

Hopefully the new show runner rights the ship. Despite the disappointing first season, I think property has enough potential that they can turn it around.

I loved the first season. I was nervous at first about how weak Danny was, but the lot eventually explained why. We'll get to watch this character grow in strength.

Trash show. Should have went with other series first or just cast a new guy as Danny Rand because Finn Jones is just unlikable and annoying af
