Following Monday's
new trailer,
FX Network has released five new promos for their upcoming
X-Men spin-off,
Legion. These teasers are very brief, though we do get some new footage that highlight some of the surreal visuals from the series, along with the struggle that
David Haller (Dan Stevens) is facing in his own mind.
Legion looks to be a very bizarre and unique take on the
X-Men universe. Putting aside what fans already know from reading comic books, these trailers haven't done much to indicate that the show is
X-Men related, besides saying "mutant" in two or three of the teaser trailers. It remains to be seen just how much
Legion plans to exploit its comic book roots when the show debuts on
February 8, 2017.
Legion follows David Haller, a troubled young man who may be more than human. Diagnosed as schizophrenic, David has been in and out of psychiatric hospitals for years. But after a strange encounter with a fellow patient, he’s confronted with the possibility that the voices he hears and visions might be real.
