LOKI: This Week's Episode Just Confirmed That [SPOILERS] Exist In The Marvel Cinematic Universe

Loki is definitely laying the groundwork for a lot of future Marvel Studios projects, and a throwaway line in today's episode confirmed that [SPOILERS] really do exist in the Marvel Cinematic Universe...

There are a lot of reveals to discuss in today's episode of Loki (and don't worry, we'll be covering them all), but there's one you may have missed that came to light thanks to a throwaway line from Mobius.

Talking to Hunter B-15, he says: "You know, we've brought in Kree, Titans, vampires..." Now, that mention of Titans is certainly interesting (Thanos?), but this is the first real confirmation we've had that vampires exist in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It shouldn't come as too big of a surprise seeing as a Blade movie is on the way, but this is definitely a significant moment.

Outside of the Doctor Strange franchise, Marvel Studios hasn't really explored the supernatural side of the comic books, but that's clearly about to change over the next few years. This also means that vampires have been operating in secret for a long time, so has Blade been quietly hunting them, or does something happen to bring them out of the shadows? That remains to be seen.

Korg mentioned vampires in Thor: Ragnarok, but that was a punchline. Tommy Maximoff also wondered whether "Pietro" might be a vampire when he was sleeping on their couch in WandaVision; however, as that was a Halloween episode, it's clear Wanda's son was just referencing the horror movie versions of those monsters.

There's been a lot of speculation that Moon Knight will open the door to exploring the MCU's weirder side, especially with rumours persisting that we could see Werewolf by Night make an appearance.

That all remains to be seen, but who'd have guessed Loki would confirm the existence of vampires?

I didn't even think of it that much when it was mentioned, but it could indeed be in reference to Blade (or Morbius I guess lol)

The confirmation blade was coming out was the confirmation vampires exist in the mcu.

@Origame - Thank you. I saw saw another article from another site making a big deal about Korg's comment in Ragnarok and saying that was confirmation of vampires, even though it was clearly a joke. It was a really stupid article, but the whole time I was like, "Isn't the upcoming Blade movie conformation of vampires? Do we really need someone to say it in order for vampires to be confirmed now?"

It would be different if this was mentioned in Loki amd we still didn't know a Blade movie was coming. But we do, lol. So is this really that shocking?

Mobius refers to Dracula. It's a nuisance to TVA that there are creatures for whom time is irrelevant

It would have been better if they had said Kree,Titans and Mutants.

We all know Vampires exist because of a Blade movie announcement.

@marvel72 - You're just too desperate for the mutant stuff is all. Just give them their darn time. Phase 5. Ways away.

@MosquitoFarmer - Yup I want The Fantastic Four and The X-Men in the MCU.

Not interested in The Eternals going by the first trailer and I have zero interest in Iron Heart and Ms.Marvel.

Give me movies that I can get excited for again, I looked forward to pretty much everything before Endgame.
