This week's episode of WandaVision definitely pulled back the curtain to an extent, but there are still a lot of mysteries to uncover, including how the Disney+ series will ultimately tie-in to the upcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
All we know for sure is that Elizabeth Olsen will return as the Scarlet Witch and that some kind of reality-bending adventures will ensue (the clue's in the title), but we're probably going to be waiting a while longer for solid answers, and, as is the norm when it comes to any Marvel Studios project, Olsen is not prepared to divulge any info just yet.
While appearing on Vanity Fair's Still Watching Podcast, Olsen spoke about her love for Wanda and what it meant for her to be able to explore new facets of the character in WandaVision. She did also touch on Doctor Strange 2, and believes the transition between the Disney+ show and the Marvel Studios blockbuster will feel "earned."
"And now, I’m excited for the next thing… I just signed on because I liked the character, because of the comics, and I thought the Age of Ultron story was really powerful and fun, angsty and rebellious, and really an honourable story to tell," said the Avengers: Endgame actress. "Now, it’s this completely new thing that it never was at the beginning. The transition from WandaVision to Doctor Strange 2, I just feel like it’s all so earned."
Olsen has reportedly started filming her scenes for the Marvel sequel in London, so there's a chance we will get some new details soon - even if it comes via leaked set photos.
