Thor: The Dark World's Fandral will headline NBC's Heroes revival.  The Chuck star will co-star with returning Heroes alum Jack Coleman for the 13-episode miniseries, which will debut sometime in 2015.  NBC is reportedly eyeing a summer release window.  Are you excited by the prospect of more Heroes? Are you looking forward to Levi's return to the Peacock Network?  Hopefully, Heroes Reborn can recapture the magic from its predecessor's first and second seasons and not the last.

The saga behind the 2006 breakout series Heroes will continue as creator Tim Kring returns to the fold and develops new layers to his original superhero concept. This highly anticipated 13-episode miniseries will reconnect with the basic elements of the show’s first season where ordinary people were waking up to the fact that they had extraordinary abilities. This series will be preceded by a new digital series that will introduce audiences to the new characters and storylines that will take the Heroes phenomenon to new places.

Has the show creator read enough new comics to rip off this time?

HEROES is a shining example of a show that went from awesome must-see TV to totally irredeemable crap in a span of just a couple of episodes.

Seasons 1 and 2 were my favorites. I just really wanted to see them give themselves costumes and etc later on. If anything the writers strike really did the show dirty.

Sylar was one of my most favorite TV villains ever.

Levi was great on Chuck. I watched Heroes and personally I think only season one was good. Seasons two and four were pretty average and season three was an absolute train wreck. I'll be watching this miniseries, though. It wasn't just good in season one, it was awesome, and the prospect that Reborn might rekindle that similar awesomeness will make me watch.

Is everyone on crack? Season 2 was chopped in half due to the writer's strike, most of the story arcs weren't even finished.

Season 1 was awesome.

Season 1 was terrific. Everything after that was one long, continuous wet shart.

The NCAA is restoring Paterno's vacated wins. Between Harbaugh getting hired, the bowl wins, the National Championship, and this news, it's a good time to be a Big 10 fan.

I'm a HUGE Zachary Levi fan so this is absolutely awesome news. I've never watched Heroes though. I will now

I'd love to see Zachary Levi land a Superhero role in the Arrow/Flash universe or in the DC Movie Universe.

One of the shining reasons why Hollywood should never let the writers go on strike again. So many shows became unwatchable that year.

Hopefully, this'll keep him away from Ragnarok. He was a horrible Fandral.

season 1 and 3 were great, but it's the Wrtiters Strike (during the 2nd Season)that derailed this show sadly.
