Since its premiere on July 4th, Stranger Things 3 has delivered staggering numbers for Netflix, posting around 41 million households for the season's first four days. The latest news regarding the show's next season alludes to Netflix capitalizing on the third installment's success very quickly, with a potential fourth season debuting in 2020.

According to the reliable Production Weekly, Netflix is prepping for a Stranger Things 4 shoot in October. And if the development process matches the same timeline as previous seasons, the season could come as soon as next October. With Mike and Eleven having discussions about Christmas at the close of the last episode, and the show's newfound tradition of premiering during holidays, Christmas 2020 seems like a safe bet for the Duffer brothers' latest. Whether it will be the series' last is still up in the air.

Do you think Stranger Things should end next season?
