THE MANDALORIAN Season 3 Set Photo And Video Reveal An Unidentified Mandalorian Warrior

New photos and videos from the set of The Mandalorian season 3 have been revealed, and they appear to confirm that we'll see more Mandalorians alongside Din Djarin when the Disney+ series returns...

Shooting has finally started on The Mandalorian season 3, and a photo and video from the show's set have generated a lot of discussion online. As you'll see below, it really doesn't reveal much, but we do see an actor decked out in what appears to be bulky, rusted Mandalorian armour.

It's definitely not Din Djarin, anyway, and this could confirm a recent rumour about the Disney+ series.

With Grogu now in Luke Skywalker's care, the focus of the series is expected to shift to rescuing Mandalore from the remnants of the Empire. We've heard that "disparate individual Mandalorians from around the galaxy answer a call Din Djarin sends out for help" and that leads to an epic battle sequence with these armoured warriors all attempting to take back their ancestral home.

So, that could explain what this extra is doing on the set of The Mandalorian, and it's undeniably exciting to think about where the series could go when it returns next year. There have been rumblings that a first look of some sort will drop during Disney+ Day on Friday, but we'll have to wait and see.

Check out the photos and video from the set of The Mandalorian season 3 below:

Whatever ends up being the case with appearing Mamdalorians, I hope we can get something like the Mandalorian vs. Death Watch arc from the Clone Wars

Classic Filoni-verse seasonal arc: Din finds a planet to use as a rallying base for the Mandalorians. Din needs a variety of things before they can launch their assault on Mandalore. The initial batch of episdoes focuses on Din finding a safe planet base and rallying some Mandalorians (including The Armorer, Sabine, Fenn, Saxon (if he survived Rebels etc.)). The middle episodes will each focus on him needing to get something (layout plans of Mandalore, ships, weapons etc) while the final episodes will focus on the siege itself, including a double-cross by Bo Katan, resulting in her death. Season ends with Din raising the Darksaber above his head while the Mandalorians cheer on.

@globaltravels - that’s about what I’m expecting. Mando to lead the charge with the Darksaber and retake Mandalore. I am hoping Boba Fett joins Din Djarin and reclaims some of the honor he lost as well as pay his respects to his father. I’d die of happiness if we see Din Djarin on the throne and he makes Boba a true Mandalorian.
